Hey there!

I'm Jocelyn Barron,
nice to meet you.

I’m a UX designer and UX researcher. I am experienced in end-to-end web design using UX audits, user research, user flows, wireframes, and visual design.

How I got started
in UX design

I transitioned into UX design because I wanted a career where I can express myself artistically, and also allow me to help people. When I was introduced to UX design, I thought it was the perfect balance between improving people's lives and making things beautiful.

What I've been
working on

Since my jump into UX design, I've been user and empathy focused. I utilize quantitative and qualitative data to inform my design. Experienced in the end-to-end design process collaborating with cross functional teams and proficient in tools like Figma and the Adobe Creative Suite.

What I'm curious about

I'd like to try my hand at being a video game UX designer because I love the immersive world of video games. I find the user interactions to be fascinating because not only would my designs need to help users accomplish tasks, but it would also need to inform the user about the world in the game and who they are in that world.
